Yesterday the Space Shuttle Atlantis launched for the last time - the last Shuttle launch ever. I came across a gorgeous picture of the launch on io9.com and thought I'd share. You can download/view the high resolution image via the link below. It's sad to see the Shuttle program end but we're on to bigger and better things.
