In the autumn of 2022, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to collaborate with Ringette New Brunswick on the design of a logo for the upcoming 2023 Eastern Canadian Ringette Championships, which were to be hosted in the province in April of 2023.

The logo incorporated a variety of design elements, ranging from the distinctive ringette rings to the maroon ship from the provincial team jerseys, as well as the green and maroon colours that are an important part of RNB's branding, and the yellow stars that celebrate the Acadian heritage of the region where the games were to take place. Designing a bilingual wordmark with so many diverse elements proved to be a significant challenge.

It was an absolute privilege to work alongside Ringette New Brunswick on this project. The logo was prominently displayed throughout the event, appearing on merchandise, banners, and signage. It also served as the centrepiece of the heavyweight medals that were awarded to the gold and silver medalists, while a variant was featured on the Player of the Game medal as well.
